Ayurvedic herb uses


According to Ayurvedic medicine, Triphala cleanses digestive system, treats constipation, improve nutrition absorption, assimilation and toxins elimination. It also aids in weight loss, inflammation reduction and regulating blood pressure.

For Seasonal Detoxification or Weight loss
Add 1 teaspoon of Triphala powder to a glass of water. Let it soak overnight and drink next morning before breakfast. In the morning prepare another batch and drink before bedtime. Continue to use this detox drink for a week or longer as necessary.

For Eye health
Mix 1-2 teaspoon of Triphala powder in warm water and soak it overnight. Next morning strain the soaked mixture and apply to the area around your eye. It removes redness and minor irritations and puffy eyes.

For Children
Triphala is safe for young children. A pinch of Triphala powder with honey prevents bacterial and viral infection in children.

Face Pack
Triphala powder paste could be applied to face to clear pigmentation, acne causing bacteria and dry skin. Gently warm 2 tablespoons of coconut oil until melted and add 2 tsp of Triphala powder to it. Let the mixture cool. Apply the paste evenly on your face and neck. Wash it after 10-15 minutes. Repeat treatment 2-3 times a week.
